The Galapagos Elite
The Galapagos Elite started operating on June 15th, 2019. When the Elite reached the azure waters of the Galapagos Islands as the newest mega yacht in the islands, it reinvented luxury, comfort, and class.
The Galapagos Elite is specifically designed for sailing the sapphire waters of the Enchanted Islands. A sleek, twin-hulled catamaran, provides its guests with a steady, safe cruise without the rocking and swaying common to the older, single-hulled yachts that dominated the island cruise industry for decades.

The Endemic, for example, features optional satellite internet service for guest use, top-shelf cuisine that can cater to special dietary requests, flat screen tv in the briefing area for nightly briefings, complimentary snorkeling equipment, clear-bottom sea kayaks, and standup paddleboards.
A typical day on a luxury Galapagos yacht like the Endemic or Elite might include breakfast, a morning expedition to a visitor site to see Frigate Birds, Blue-footed Boobies, sea lions, tortoises, iguanas or Galapagos Penguins, followed by a delicious lunch on board, an afternoon trip to a spectacular snorkeling spot and then another gourmet meal for dinner. Cap this off with a cold drink on the deck while watching a dazzling sunset and you have the perfect Galapagos day!
ECUADOR ADD-ON TOURS
The marvelous Galapagos Islands are clearly the one spot in Ecuador you should not leave without seeing, but the islands are only one of the worthwhile attractions that Ecuador has to offer. Ecuador is a friendly country rich in culture, history and natural beauty. While planning your Galapagos trip, plan on spending some time on the mainland, too!
- The Amazon Rainforest
- Native Markets
Ecuador’s capital city, Quito, features great food, nightlife, elegant hotels, culture, history and one of the best-preserved colonial centers in all of Latin America.
The eastern part of Ecuador consists of a gently sloping lowland basin which drains into the mighty Amazon River. The Ecuadorian rainforest is a stunning green explosion of life. Anacondas, jaguars, toucans, parrots, monkeys and many, many more animals make this region their home. Jungle lodges are elegant and surprisingly comfortable.
The skilled artisans of the Ecuadorian Andes make gorgeous and useful blankets, sweaters, ponchos, hammocks, baskets, woodcarvings and jewelry and there are colorful native markets in many towns and cities, including Pujilí, Cuenca and Quito. The world-famous native handicraft market in the town of Otavalo is a favorite of culture buffs, shoppers and souvenir seekers. The scenic trip through the highlands to get to Otavalo and back from Quito is a bonus!
